PTA Budget Goal for 2025-2026
This budget goal was set at the beginning of the fiscal year. It is intended to cover basic operating costs of running the PTA (Tax filing, mandatory insurance, etc.), a few events known about in advance (picture background/balloon arch for Back2School, concerts, teacher appreciation, movie/bingo night, etc.) and some miscellaneous expenses/requests that may pop up. These funds have been primarily raised with PTA membership fees, concession stands, and raffle/bingo night. However, our PTA has recently corrected its non-profit status and is looking forward to more opportunities to fund raise as a result. Thank you to everyone who supports the PTA! Your contributions help enable us to host or enhance activities at the school for our students and staff!

Our school PTA is now actively enrolled with the Box Tops for Education program to help raise funds to support the students and staff! No more collecting little cutouts, the program has made it easier than ever with digital scans of receipts, emails, and even direct linkage to Walmart accounts!
Step-by-Step Guide to Get Started
1. Download and Sign Up
Search for the free Box Tops for Education app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Create your free user profile using an email address.
2. Link Our Middle School!
Search for Cesar Chavez Middle School and select OUR school (202 Oleander Dr. Oceanside, CA 92057) Select it as your designated beneficiary so all your future earnings route straight to our PTA's account. Get your friends and family onboard also!
3. Buy Eligible Household Brands
Shop for groceries and school supplies as you normally would. Hundreds of everyday products from major brands qualify.
4. Scan Receipts Within 14 Days
Open the app and tap the built-in Scan button to snap a photo of your paper receipt. Make sure the store name, purchase date, total, and items are fully visible.
